Bon Voyage Experience with Princess

Princess are to reintroduce a practise dormant for 20 years whereby passenger friends and family may board, tour the ship and dine with family who are cruising on the day of depature.  The program is called “Bon Voyage”.

Norwegian Cruise Line is planning to increase fares up to 7 %, starting from the 2nd April, after experiencing strong demand during the start of the wave season of bookings in January and February 2010.

Carnival price increases

Carnival Cruise Lines will be increasing their prices by 5% for all summer 2010 sailings.

Chief Executive Gerry Cahill said “While pricing has not fully recovered to 2008 levels, we are increasing prices and will implement an across-the-board increase effective from 22nd March 2010″.

Cunard’s Special guests

Cunard is bringing classical and contemporary jazz performances to various eastbound Transatlantic crossings aboard Queen Mary 2 from April - October 2010 including renowned trumpeter Eddie Henderson, who’s first trumpet lesson was given to him by the legendary Louis Armstrong.

In addition on the 29th April 2010 during the westbound crossing, acclaimed documentary filmmakers Dori Berinstein and Judd Ehrlich will join the cruise.  Cunard  was the sponsor of the 2009 World Documentary Feature competition and recognised as the 2009 Official Cruise Line of the Tribeca Film Festival.

The high cost is associated with insurance for a £100,000 car.

Big boys go head to head in Barcelona
