Hebridean Island Cruises in Administration
Hebridean Island Cruises was put into in Administration last week but Hebridean Princess cruises will continue. The administrators Ernst & Young LLP say they recognise the value of the Princess business and have taken steps to secure funding to continue its sailing schedule as planned. The Princess is therefore continuing to sail while they pursue a sale of the business as a going concern and the company will continue to take booking enquiries. There is believed to be an interested party in negotiation with the Administrators.
The sale of Hebridean Spirit was also completed last week but the Adminstrators will not be making refunds to customers who had booked cruises on this ship and they are being advised to make claims on ATOL, their insurance or credit cards. The company had previously told customers it was going to refund all bookings.
