Costa grows despite economic downturn

The world’s largest ship order book (including 3 new ships set to join the fleet in the next 12 months), new customer incentives, a guarantee of reliability based on 60 years’ experience, exclusive product innovations and original itineraries are the factors in Costa Cruises’ continuing growth and success: in 2008 roughly 1 out of every 5 European cruisers chose a Costa ship. The new 2010 brochure features exclusive destinations such as Dubai, the Far East and the Indian Ocean, as well as new itineraries like summer cruises to Greenland plus special eco-tourism and food & wine excursions.

In the cruise industry’s effort to float your boat, nearly a dozen vessels from name-brand lines will be christened this year. In 2010, a dozen more new ships should set sail, and in 2011 and 2012, another 13 will hit the high seas.
